What’s the Story?

I fell in love with photography in high school, thrilled at the opportunity to participate in a photography class during my junior year (thanks, Mrs. Hebert!). Back then, 35mm film cameras were the tools of the trade, and dark rooms were still a thing. I didn’t own a camera, however, until graduating from college when my then-boyfriend-now-husband gifted me my first kit. Boxes of negatives, slides and prints collected over many years catalog my early work.

I quickly migrated to digital photography as soon as the technology became easily affordable and accessible. Digital photography allowed for experimentation and growth in ways film photography could not. Social media platforms provided a new outlet to share my images that previously lived, mostly unviewed, on hard drives.

This site showcases the work I love across multiple subject categories. Nature and flowers are two favorite subjects, and I’ve also grown to love architecture and street photography. I hope you enjoy these images as much as I enjoy capturing them.
